Founded by Dr. Jacquiline Cox
Advocacy. Compassion. Community. Because Every Story Deserves to Be Heard.
Linda Listens Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing advocacy, resources, and compassionate support to individuals and families navigating trauma, neurodiversity, grief, and life’s unexpected challenges.
We believe that listening is the first step toward healing. Through community initiatives, education, and supportive programs, we strive to create spaces where individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered to move forward.
Linda Listens Foundation Inc. was founded by Dr. Jacquiline Cox as a response to the growing need for safe, transformative spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported during life’s most difficult seasons.
Rooted in lived experience, advocacy, and a deep commitment to community empowerment, the foundation is dedicated to serving underserved children, veterans, and survivors of domestic violence. Through innovative programming, Linda Listens Foundation uses writing as a therapeutic tool for healing—helping individuals process trauma, rebuild confidence, and rediscover their voice.
At the heart of the foundation’s work is a unique approach that combines emotional healing with personal development. Participants are not only encouraged to tell their stories, but are also guided through the process of becoming published authors. Leveraging Dr. Cox’s expertise in publishing and branding, individuals are equipped with the tools, structure, and support needed to become bestselling authors—turning pain into purpose and stories into legacies.
Beyond publishing and personal development, the foundation is actively engaged in community outreach efforts, including feeding the homeless, hosting fundraising initiatives, and creating opportunities for collective impact. Through these efforts, Linda Listens Foundation ensures that support extends beyond words and into real, tangible service.
The foundation also proudly honors individuals who are making a difference through its award ceremonies, recognizing trailblazers, advocates, and changemakers who are creating meaningful impact within underserved communities. These celebrations not only uplift others but inspire a culture of service, resilience, and leadership.
At its core, Linda Listens Foundation stands on the belief that storytelling is not just expression—it is restoration. And when people are given the space to speak, write, serve, and be celebrated, healing becomes possible.
The mission of Linda Listens Foundation Inc. is to provide advocacy, resources, and compassionate support to underserved children, veterans, and survivors of domestic violence by creating safe, empowering spaces where healing begins.
Through therapeutic writing programs, publishing opportunities, and personal development initiatives, we aim to restore confidence, build self-esteem, and help individuals transform their lived experiences into powerful stories of resilience. In addition, we are committed to community service through outreach efforts such as feeding the homeless, fundraising for critical needs, and honoring impactful leaders through award ceremonies that celebrate excellence and service.
Our goal is not only to support healing—but to equip every individual we serve with the tools to walk boldly in their truth, share their voice with the world, and create lasting impact within their communities.
“When I created Linda Listens Foundation, it wasn’t just about forming an organization. It was about answering a need that I have witnessed for years — the need for people to feel heard.”
“So many individuals carry their struggles quietly. Families navigating trauma, grief, neurodiversity, or life’s unexpected storms often feel like they are trying to survive in silence. Sometimes what people need most is not immediate solutions, but someone who is willing to listen with compassion and understanding. Linda Listens Foundation was born out of that understanding.”
“Throughout my journey as an author, publisher, advocate, and mother, I have encountered countless stories of resilience. I have seen firsthand how powerful it can be when someone’s voice is acknowledged and their experiences are validated. Those moments revealed something important: listening is often the first step toward healing.”
“Our mission is to provide advocacy, resources, and supportive spaces where individuals and families feel valued, respected, and empowered to move forward.”
